Two boot/system slot pairs. OTA writes the inactive slot; self-check decides whether to keep it or roll back. data is shared, not duplicated per slot.
ADSSS
Audio Data-over-Sound system used by the VK app and Mini to encode/decode provisioning JSON. The local implementation uses a 16 kHz float reference and Reed–Solomon/FFT components.
AVB
Android Verified Boot. devinfo exposes related device state, but this repository does not claim a complete AVB chain analysis.
configfs / FunctionFS
Kernel interfaces used to construct the USB gadget and expose an ADB function. Mounting FunctionFS does not itself provide an adbd process.
data
Writable UBI volume containing account state, settings, overlay upper/work, update markers, logs, and persistent configuration.
devinfo
VK identity utility reading hardware/unifykey and firmware metadata. Its output is consumed by USB and OTA scripts.
Dropbear
Third-party SSH daemon in the live jailbreak package. It is not the stock ADB mechanism and is marked live-only in the evidence inventory.
evdev
Linux input event interface. The early reset utility reads /dev/input/event0; normal voice-agent discovers devices under /dev/input.
Factory reset marker
/data/do_factory_reset. Created by the volume chord or voice-agent::hwResetDevice; consumed by S03 on the next boot.
gRPC
Transport used by voice-agent for streaming speech and receiving phrase results/commands after local keyword activation.
IS31FL32xx
LED controller behind /dev/is31fl32xx, used as 30 independently addressable monochrome display elements.
KWS
Keyword spotting. On Mini it is a local TensorFlow Lite pipeline using model.bin, with separate quiet/playback thresholds.
Marusya session
Long-lived session plus secret stored after setup. Used for voice and firmware APIs; different from xToken and VK OAuth credentials.
mDNS
Multicast DNS discovery on UDP 5353, used by voice-agent and related discovery mechanisms.
MTD / NAND / PEB
Memory Technology Device partition, raw flash, and physical erase block. This Mini uses 128 KiB erase blocks; physical and logical skip-bad lengths differ.
OverlayFS
Union mount with stock root as lower layer and /data/overlay/upper as writable upper layer. S04 pivots into it before late services start.
PulseAudio
Userspace audio server used for capture, playback, calls, and volume control alongside direct ALSA access.
RNDIS
USB network function created by stock S89. Its presence in configfs does not prove an active network interface or ADB daemon.
Snapcast
Synchronized audio transport used by stereoctl; master runs snapserver, peer runs snapclient.
SWUpdate / .swu
Signed update framework/container used to install an inactive slot and then run post-boot acceptance checks.
TDLib
Telegram client library embedded in tgclient; its persistent database is under /data/voice-agent/tdlib.
TFLite / TFL3
TensorFlow Lite runtime/model format used for local wake-word detection.
UBI / UBIFS
Flash volume management and filesystem used for rootfs and data. UBI handles volume tables, erase counters, and bad-block mapping.
UDC
USB Device Controller. Writing the controller name to gadget UDC binds the configured functions; the captured live file was empty.
xToken
Short-lived provisioning credential encoded into setup audio. It is attached by the Mini and polled by the phone until CONNECTED; it is not the persistent voice session.
